Quick update started on the rolling stock.....ketchup truck on scrap Hornby truck, Binnie wheels, and cheap magnetic notice board pins from Tescos, also start of the guards van

Hi the buffers are golf tees ...big bag from Tescos of varying sizes..rivets are stick on gems from a craft shop..as for colour...from what colour photos I have seen black or Crimson seem favoured colours....everything is from scrap ... I scrounge and save any pen and bottle tops, broken toys, card ...

My efforts to date....Lima chassis, jelly tots tube (big sort from Christmas great for 16mm G scale boiler), oval card box, mounting card, drink straws, pen top etc....all slots over the Lima chassis.

Hi Annie that French ww1 loco is the way I intend to go...I have two nova chassis but trying to decide if it is easier to run off one power pack and if that will last a while...or two , one feeding each chassis but can't work out a simple wiring and control circuit where I just use the one switch......

I just hope the loco will have enough power to pull on the track Shouldn't think it will be a problem Dave, those Battery 4f's are quite powerful, the few I used to have could manage 3 mk1 coaches with no problem. Coach and loco look great. Yep it sure does Jim...great fun I've been playing trains ...

Work goes on ready for first public trials, with coaches fixed to the trucks, who now have my usual picture rings for couplings.
