Rivets for a Penrhyn Quarrymens Coach

Hello :)
So I bought a I.P engineering Quarrymens coach kit at a very reasonable price from Glendale junction.
The rivet detail isn't really my taste being just laser cut circles so I wondered if anyone knew of something I could use as rivets?
Thanks

In an evening..

I made one a while back to sit on top of the tank of my dad's 'Russell' but I fancied making a full set. Made in a couple of hours, a Pricker, Poker and Shovel. :) These will go with the clinker and ash dump made out of slate like the one on The Talyllyn Railway at Warf next to the water tower that ...

I really like that :) I have one too which I'm starting to work on. Ordered a speed controller from Andel Models and starting work on cutting down the cab later today. Replacing the grill is a great idea, I had wondered about doing that too. I'm loosely basing mine on the TR's 'Alf' which looks very...

Some really nice photos there! Great realism. :)

I'm rather interested in the L&B guards wagon. Some really good weathering, Is it still available?

Mike you've done a fantastic job there! Are those laser cut parts you've made yourself? I really like the hinged door, very smart! :D

A somewhat unsual loco

As a child I was very much into K'nex and built all sorts of things. Then it struck me. 'I wonder if I could make a loco that could run on my Dad's garden railway?' I've built many locos, most of them out of scale and never really built to any prototype but here's my current design which I've had fo...
What I recommended was the test sample pot which only costs a £3.50 and is more than enough to paint several of these I've made in 7/8* scale, so in 16mm you should be able to paint a whole rake. http://www.paint-paper.co.uk/paints-stains/farrow-and-ball/cat_14.html Mike Ousby
Thank...

I decided to paint it a maroon colour that i already had, probably doesn't look as nice as the proper colour but looks OK, it's close to the colour that penrhyn have painted their restored one. Hello :) I'm new here. What was the maroon colour you used? It's rather nice :) I think the Brinjal colou...
