Thanks Rik, i have an airbrush mainly because trying to paint N Gauges models with a spray can is nigh on impossible, and after a while the cleaning and such is second nature, so would i be better keeping my painting to the airbrush or should i get cans, or both. Bit late sorry, I always build with 2.4mm rivets and stainless self tappers/ nuts and bolts. 100 bags of rivets are just over a quid at toolstation. I have a FB account and yes it does have loads of rubbish on it, but you can block it, and since getting interested in garden railways i now have more groups to look at on garden railways and the rubbish seems to stop coming. Thanks Rik for you’r reply, i will certainly look at your blogs when i have time, at the moment i am waiting for the weather to clear up a bit so i can get on with the paving. Then it’s full steam ahead (PUN) with the garden layout start next week.
