I do like the umber / tan in your picture but isn't that a bit deeper/richer than the R/H tan ?

I painted this one with LNWR coach plum and LNWR white. It looks brown but close up or in strong light it has a purplish sheen to it - not very evident in this pic though!

I'm sure Phoenix Precision paints stock most LNWR colours. I know they do engine black (blackberry black) coach plum P379 and i think they still do coach white P380 (though that may be discontinued).

I thought 'lake' was a more reddish/deep maroon. The coach plum
which i have is a purplish brown.

What a beauty. Nice livery too. Is that a heavily modded RH Fowler?

A splendid rake of coaches. No doubt the passengers are paying a special supplement to travel in Pulman style.

Well done that man!

The locos were apparantly a pair of olive green 0-4-0t's named Oakhill and Mendip.

The brewery made Invalid stout (?)

Here is a model shop's Ltd edition...

The guage is more common than that of your Dublin Guiness railway-( 1'10'' ,what an odd choice of guage!)
However it does have something in common with the Dublin line and it had a rail interchange with a rather more famous line.

Impressive video. Looks great with the tender. Makes other Mamods look like they're running on amphetamine

OK, Just to complete one that one was unfinished from before (we had two questions running simultaneously) .....

a) a range of hills

b) a glass of stout

c) 2 N/G locos.
Whereabouts and what guage?

Assuming you mean geographical rather than chronological they are currently
Hythe
Dymchurch
St Mary's Bay
Romney Warren
New Romney
Romney Sands
Dungeness
although there have been some changes over the years and name changes as well such as Jefferson Lane Madisons Camp etc.

You must have the gearing about right. It hauls a good load at a steady speed. Excellent.

Railway looks great. I like the way you have risen to the challenge of a steeply sloping garden.

I built one with no previous experience and i'm fairly ham fisted.
I used spray cans (primer and topcoat) from precision paints who i found very helpful and i was pleased with the result.

You can build it as supplied or else lavish as much extra detail as your skill/time allows.
