That's a really effective technique Rik, and it wouldn't even need to be a steam iron. Making the former looks like the hardest part of that job.

Great video as usual Rik. I particularly like the end scene (December) - that slight incline really adds a level of realism to the whole scene.

That's fabulous. Mamod use (or used to) a coiled wire like miniature curtain rod for the drive bands, cut to length and just 'screwed' into its other end. Hi Bertie, I had issues viewing it from your website too. Using a Samsung Galaxy A8, I can get about a minute in and then it just locks up! Fortunately I was able to download it and view it direct - great stuff! Very stirring
