The bigger cab definitely takes some of the lengthy appearance away from the original, much better looking.

The weekend was good for running wasn't it. Managed to run three of mine, and gave all a good sudsy wash after to prepare for more running this winter.

Was going to say, that's an enormous load for a Skylark. I have found that setting back with log bogies is a good test, especially through S curves.

You guys are lucky with your cooler temperatures showing nice steam atmospherics, down here they're far less obvious most of the time.

I can only agree with what's already been said, great job on the weathering. Wondering if a piece of cotton thread pulled between the axle box and wheel would ease out anything stuck there, particularly if it's dry.

Yes Andrew, I noticed as the train arrived at Tan y Bwlch that the second grey wagon did look different. Noticed two crew walking either side of the stationary train feeling the axle boxes for heat.

A goods train came into Minffordd headed by a small England, with what looked like (to my untrained eye!) two of your recently modelled grey coal wagons in the consist. The Ffestiniog Van 4 is looking superb as usual Andrew, how you hand cut all those windows so accurately is beyond me.

To find the shafts short was one thing, but to discover after I had added 3mm mine were still shorter than Graeme's was a real surprise.
It has finally ended up a runner in the end.
