Love that strangely roofed side shed, it looks so real. Something you see in real life but rarely modelled. Genius!

Re: Lymes Disease
Hope you make a quick recovery and thanks for the heads up. I've seen Facebook warnings (American ) and always dismissed it. We do have ticks a plenty down here as there are free roaming sheep in the village and woods. The dogs have been spared the last 18 months through a change from frontline to b...

If Simon left the loco behind and said if anybody wants it they can have it can I be FIRST in the queue?
Is that the beginning of an extension ?.

Stock Control
A question or curiosity. How do steamers store stock (how's that for alliteration? )? My work bench has a few, overflowing shelves of wagons and as it is becoming very congested. I have an outdoor shed that the railway loops in but I'm not sure how steel wheels and wooden bodies would fare in an unh...

So sorry to hear that Tom. It is strange hobby and it often leaves me wondering why I bother but I always bounce back and I hope you and the RWLR do at some point. You have my vote to continue running the forum and offering help when we need it. Keep posting and look forward to a reincarnation when ...

Re: Time to build a railway...but where?
It will probably fade as it dries as you say. Any work I've done with masonry colours or cement never dries the same colour as wet. Like Phili says the tarpaulin is going to be needed today! I like the wider shots that show how the village blends in and how the road crosses the railway. Here's hopin...

Re: Vale of Fairway
Thanks guys. It was always a bit catch 22 in that I didn't think a small build would be a test for the build process. Using foamboard on its own wasn't so good either needing a lot of reinforcement. Tempted to make it a corrugated shed to salvage something. Tis only a toy!
