Show us your Andel bug boxes.

So i'm interested in getting and andel bug box but I've been told the 'wood grain' effect is quite coarse and a bit out of scale. Are there bet versions than others?

Thanks

Moelwyn

Hello :) I plan on purchasing Andel Moelwyn soon. I asked Andy to send me some pictures of the maroon version (Moelwyn's current colour). To me the colour isn't right so i'm thinking of painting it. I wondered if anyone know's what the colour is for Moelwyn and a where I could purchase the paint. (o...

Stoneleigh purchases!

Saw this at Stoneleigh and had to get it. It's scratch built and very well painted with lots of detail and even came with its own box for £40! :) Did anyone else pic up some great finds at Stoneleigh? ./myff/1032036/IMG_2329.JPG ./myff/1032037/IMG_2324.JPG ./myff/1032038/IMG_2327.JPG ./myff/1032039/...

Hi All, Ive been able to get a bit more modelling done this week as most of the coursework is now done  :D Just a few little bits here and there  :( Anyway, I have started painting the slate wagons in their new liveries, so far I have painted one red oxide and two in a quite dark grey. That was an idea I had in mind but the speed controller is not as smooth as I hoped but having a lever means I can nudge it slightly to make fine adjustments :)

A little bit more work done :) Drilled out the front grill. Just need to add some mesh. New speed control lever in the cab as well which makes controlling the loco a lot easier! Bit of copper wire will be added for a handle. Sorry for the bad lighting. ./myff/1025774/IMG_2315.JPG ./myff/1025775/IMG_...

Just an update :) Finished making the control panel which just needs a drop of glue to hold it in place. Thinking about what to use for a handle for the speed controller as the cabs quite tight to get your hand in. Any ideas? ./myff/1018028/IMG_2308.JPG ./myff/1018029/IMG_2310.JPG ./myff/1018030/IMG...
