Hi, I like thing to have lights in them! It just brings the railway to life for me. I added some bulbs to my coaches some time back but I was always a bit upset that they didn't run very long on the rechargable batteries I had. Reading articles on here about LI ION batteries and other technologies p...

The lamp case is made from brass and forms one half of the circuit, the battery presses against the back of the led to form the other half. I've made 2 so far and they work OK, I hang them on ...

Oh, of you can trigger the sound from the rc, you could make a nice simple horn! I'm not sure that my neighbours would like the continuous engine sound, sure they wouldn't mind an occasional horn though!

What do you use to charge, do you need a charger or will any supply do because the charging is controlled by the circuit you have built in? What ...

Hi, if you have a home bargains store near you it could be worth taking a look at these horses they have in for £1 each! I have photographed it with a swift 16 figure so you can judge the size, I don't think it's far wrong but I know nothing about horses! I think they are made from resin so should l...

Big Jim, you are a genius!

I forgot to say, the instant fence costs £2.50 for 3 meters! So it's a bit of a bargain.
Just avoid the other areas of the store!

Yes, it is a slightly soft plastic, you can cut it to length using scissors. i think it'll take paint quite well if primed first.
