My locos live out in the shed, so I tend to drain the boilers in winter as a precaution against frost damage. Otherwise I don't drain.
This is a relatively soft water area.

I've had good service from Cornwall Model Boats.
A long way, but quite quick turnaround and a vast range of woods in sheet and strip formats.

does anyone know if I can easily get a new gas pipe and jet holder for an Accucraft engine? Just had to get a jet & holder for my Edrig. AFAIK the only supplier is Chuffed2bits who make a modified holder threaded to fit a British No 6 jet. As an agent for Accucraft, I guess they can make up a g...
