Re: 16mm and its relationship with other scales
Nearly all railway preservation enterprises will have at their core a group of skilled salaried employees to a greater or lesser extent. However, even the largest and most high profile groups will rely on ready and willing volunteers for labour and also a base of supporters that will also provide es...

Might not a simple e-mail to Roundhouse, with the picture attached, provide an explanation and resolve your issue ? They are known for their excellent customer service and they would probably know what they are looking at.

Re: 16mm and its relationship with other scales
It seems in all of human endeavours that given a chance there will always be one or more who will cause a schism. Luckily I'm a member of a 16 mm group who have very wide ranging tastes - 32/45 mm gauges, 7/8"inch/15/16 mm/1:22.5/24 scales, prototypical/freelance, battery/gas/coal power, steam/...

Long time since I looked. My grandmother did like Al Bowley as I remember. But I have got Gracie Fields at the Holborn Empire 1933. It's a boxed set, 12" 78's. It's original. Before the local concil's censors got their blue pencils out.

I went there on a school outing c 1970. You might have a problem adding a railway "attraction" as it is Grade II listed. Damn you Historic England !

Wonderful stuff Rik. Thanks for posting. I find it ironic that untamed species that are able to succeed in the environments we create and co-exist with us are termed "vermin" and are put in line for vilification and possible extermination. Yet those species that are unable to adapt to our ...

Re: Semi-scale BR: Leader and Pannier Tank
The railway and trains look like great fun to me. Really nice and with a lot of humor, like the plamobil train. It does look great in BR colours! I guess that in a parallel universe where not Brunel and Stephenson had their go, a narrow gauge version of BR excists. On the other hand, the swiss rail...

Re: Semi-scale BR: Leader and Pannier Tank
I think you have a talent for this. Love what you are doing, the models and the videos. However, mixing post-war BR livery with pre-war syncopated musical stylings ? Preposterous ! Sorry I can't help the crotchet counter in me. Max
