The bell mod to the sound module did only take the addition of a couple of wires and a switch, however it was incredibly fiddly to do as I had to take apart the micro connector which fits into the sound module to add the wire which Roundhouse had cut off at the connector as it wasn't needed. Interesting as I'm having similar ideas for one of the Essel Engineering chassis that I bought of Ebay recently.

Batteries in the boiler and turn the funnel for speed control.

I take your point about working signals and your project is very impressive but it also sounds expensive per signal. It shouldn't cost too much as I'm designing and building this for my own use and using standard parts. I suppose the main cost is the time it takes to make it all and modifying the s...
