It's a long time since I last posted here but the motor shaft is 2mm dia and the standard IP axle is 1/8 inch (3.15mm) the gear sets sold by Cambrian are the correct sizes and I've just fitted 40:1 ratio to the Rapier kit that I'm currently building, it's running fine with 4 NiMH cells giving 4.8 vo...

Hi, thanks for your kind comments, the parts are cut out using a cnc gantry router with a 2mm bit,
3mm ply for the main body and roof, 1mm ply for the framing effect and the chassis is one piece cut from 12mm ply.
IP engineering wheels, axle boxes and buffers.
