Re: Sandstone & Termite
The Aust. climate has three seasons, drought, fire and flood........ The poem ”Said Hanrahan” was written 100 yrs ago, but still covers the situation. I enjoyed the poem. Farmers! There's no pleasin' 'em Haha! Seriously though, it was good to see people rejoicing at the bush fires finally being ext...

This will be a lovely rustic station area. I do like the bridge, and is that a charming wee cottage I spy atop the rockery.

Re: Semi-scale BR: almost a 2MT
There's something about a well proportioned mogul (or a 2-6-2T). This, like the N class, is a winner.
Looking forward to whatever rolls out of your workshop next.

Re: Semi-scale BR: almost a 2MT
I've fallen in love with this one already. A classic example of the maxim that the character of the thing is what makes a good model more than exact dimensional accuracy. It certainly has the utilitarian chunky appearance of the 2MT. What thickness of styrene sheet do you use for the for the main bo...

Do I detect an outbreak of Suffragettism ? !
I like the cameo of the Gent getting caught by 'the missus' ogling at the blonde.
Nice signal cabin too

Next time you weather a loco maybe you could do a 'how to' video. You've absolutely nailed the technique.

The DH looks great. It must be a heavy beast. I like the green coach in the background of the workshop photo. Is that a freelance model or something specific? Your mate's Sentinel railcar is a beauty too.

It's a nicer workshop than mine, and mine took me much longer than 3m 43s to build too.

You have to admire this railway. One of the most atmospheric garden railways you are likely to see.

Good to see this rural Aussie scene, full of character. The bauxite coloured van is an interesting item. Is that rolled up 'blinds' I see there? Not sure what they're really called but it's a nice touch.

Re: Semi-scale BR: Strictly Bulleid*
...I reckon an N or U class mogul would look great... There’s the Schools class, too - which I’ve always thought actually looks (especially in profile) like a full-size toy train, if you know what I mean. Very impressed with your Southern Mogul. Captures the spirit of it nicely. The N is probably m...

Re: Snowdon Mountain Railway
Yes, its a great run. About 3 years back my better half and myself took into our heads to do a flying visit from Kent. Drove to the youth hostel (Snowdon Ranger?). Next day went up the mountain then drove home! We never seem to get much time off! We nearly missed out on the trip because th...
