Like others I prefer gradients although sometimes I wish I could just leave them running and watch like on a flat line. Just make sure you calculate the gradients right. If you already have a wooden shell then that is your best option I would say. Plastic sheet with stone effect is another way but if the sheet isnt big enough then it can turn into a difficult job needing to patch it together. Video editing software.
Okay so what does everyone use for editing thier videos? I used to use windows movie maker which i had no complaints with until I bought my new video camera and it has now decided it doesn't like my new video format that the new camera uses and crashes all the time so I'm giving up with movie maker....
