Hi Michael, Could we have some pictures please of the conversion you have done on your Regner as you seem to have a pipe coming off from the condensing tank into the chimney so smoke comes out where it should :) You have obviously drilled a small hole somewhere along the pipe to allow condensate to ...

I am sure services are available, however, you can do this yourself with an existing VHS player and a USB converter. As VHS is poor quality USB transfer rate will be sufficient.

I think that's why I like NG because you don't have to model everything perfectly. Things can be dented, rusted, chipped, etc and you can get away with it ;)

How does it cope on the Peco curves 2ft 6" curves?

They are great for no-nonsense running. They raise steam in minutes and happily plod along - no need for R/C as they are geared. I have a Chaloner which is perfect for 7/8ths and if you buy Mr Gremlin's condenser drain it will empty the condensing tank automatically. He is on here so contact him dir...

Thanks, I am sure they are the same.

RH 0-6-0 chassis has the front/back axles at just over 90mm apart so I was wondering if you could get away with removing the middle axle and having a large 0-4-0 looking loco without it looking silly :)

Wheel spacing Roundhouse Linda

Is this the same as on Roundhouse 0-4-0 locos? If not and if someone has one could they measure the distance between the axles?

Cheers,

Tom

Hi Chris,

What solder are you using and wattage iron? Make sure the part of the rail you are soldering has been scrubbed with wire brush or file to allow the solder to contact.

To stop the sleepers from melting you can use metal clips to transfer the heat away.

I like the lamp Andrew.

How big is it as that might look good in 7/8ths on my Ragleth :)

Hi Yoda, and welcome. If you are only going to run small 0-4-0 battery loco's then you can get away with set track 2ft 6" radius curves from Peco.  I would not attempt to try and curve track yourself down to this radius as it's too tight.  Gradient wise the IP/HGLW locos are light so you would ...

I am dipping my toe in it at the moment with a Simply 7/8ths Baldrig. You should Google search 7/8ths forums for more input.

Thanks for posting Andrew as I was wondering whether to fit these to my Ragleth.

When you took the cylinders off did you have to set the valve timing again?
