Re: The Leawarra Nayook Railway
Thanks Rik,
No the track is code 250 AMS track with very poor UV plastic. Much deterioration under Australian UV conditions, that's why there is shade cloth over Leawarra and things look a bit mottled!

Re: The Leawarra Nayook Railway
There has been a scheduled shut down at Leawarra requiring full occupation of the yard, in order to carry out a redesigning of track and platform requirements. The Civil Engineers have designed and built a new footbridge to allow for the track amendments. Track crews have removed track from the sout...

she works nicely on air and on blocks I might be completely off target here, but as you have mentioned that it runs OK on blocks( presuming wheels hanging free) it couldn't be that with weight on the wheels, bearing condition or loco attitude on the rails, is not causing a drag or bind somewhere? Re: Has radio control changed in the past 20 years?
Ah, it's coming back to me now. You are correct and that's why it doesn't matter because you are only mixing the control wire with the negative one.
Thanks for jogging my memory.

Re: Has radio control changed in the past 20 years?
I still run an old Sanwa transmitter in one of my boats. They were always the odd man out so far as receiver wiring is concerned. As my memory is a little hazy, I think if you plugged another brand servo into a Sanwa receiver it blew the servo, but if you plugged a Sanwa servo into another brand rec...

I really like the overgrown track work, though I hope no one lives in that grounded van! More nice shots, and I second BertieB about that station building, just love the exposed framework inside.
