Rod its really nice to see the younger generation getting involved and your grandson seems to be enjoying running your loco and hopefully a modeller in the future.

These are called Hit and Miss engines big in the States and lovely to watch running and your model is really nice.

Hi Ian just on the doorstep from me about 7 Miles.

They all look nicely made and for keeping bits tidy and in one place it would be nice if they produced a painting and weathering stand in alternative gauges.

Thanks Ian for the post as I was going to purchase some items from swift sixteen but did not know much about them but this helps me decide and I am looking forward to purchase from them.

I have finally bought my first loco kit from IP Engineering and its called the Danny 0-4-0 Loco Kit and looking forward to building this kit. If anyone on the forum has built one of these or can share some advice it will be appreciated.

Thanks Tom for explaining this to me what I could do is leave the brass so it oxidises naturally so it looks more used and not polished.

Hi Tom I have just finished reading this thread and you have done a stirling job on your loco build. I do really like the slow mo in the steaming of your loco.
