Back in march when I had just started out in 16mm I told my local group leader about me and my mss kit loco I was building. He told me that I should sell my kit loco and buy a roundhouse engine.

What kind of encouragement is that!?

I think Chris is referring to the jane's and janets ace. And I commend your bravery for buying and dealing with dreamsteam. I agree with you about Roy woods services and how they just obliterate dreamsteams. I hope Roy wood becomes more better known throughout the 16mm world as at elsecar it seemed ...

The RWM boilers come with a 12 month certificate of valdility so does that mean that one should test the boiler annually?

I believe rwm boilers are marked and at elsecar I saw the ever present CE mark on the dreamsteam boilers.

Thanks for the advice guys. Next question :D How do you remove and refit the c-clips with out damaging the paint on conrods.

Ace, what would you recommend doing to stop the polished wheel rims and tyres of the driving wheels from getting rusty? On pioneer the wheels have started to slightly develop some surface rust...
