Hi Rik, I've successfully used these http://www.smallscalelights.co.uk/viewitem.php?productid=63 to connect upper and lower halves in a 3v model - smaller than a servo plug/socket. Treated myself to a olfa type cutter from The Range yesterday. Three quid well spent! Works very well on plastic and the slice I have across my finger is lovely and straight! (note to self, don't sneeze while cutting plastic) Lol So much for being safer than using a sharp blade! Hope it's not serio...

I have the same issue with my Ragleth regarding the 'oily' running. I'm using the Accucraft recommended 460 steam oil. The radio in mine is a Spektrum DX4e, and has been faultless. It sounds as though you are losing signal between Tx and Rx. Somewhere, someone has mentioned an issue with Rx overheat...
