Min Radius: 900mm (36 inches) > LGB R1 = 600mm.

Earl/countess question

Hey guys

Can anyone help, will an accucraft earl/countess negotiate radius 1 curves?

Some outlets say yes others say no minim rad must be 36 inch.

Anyone here got one running on LGB 45mm rad 1??

Thanks

Matt

Well I would like to make that meet.

Common practice for a locomotive to have a black boiler and the loco to be a different colour. Especially in narrow gauge.

Very impressive sir... Like this a lot. Bodywork is exquisite. What a very ingenious way to make a locomotive on a reachable budget compared to the off the shelf accy counterpart which is out of reach for most 16 millers! My only comment would be maybe tone down the footplate. (But I'm a funny dear)...

That caradoc is pretty decent. Accy engines always have a good steam plume don't they.

Like this a lot. Watching closely. I like that you haven't gone too standard gauge inspired design. Replicating standard gauge on narrow never quite works in my opinion.

Keep up the good work!

A little update. This is how far I have got tonight with the newqida coach. The plan is to try and get it similar (uses term loosely) to something that Pickering would have made for the C&M or Welshpool. Unfortunately I can't get the lovely curved edges on the paneling. But at 30 quid a pop vs t...
