When I moved out it deteriorated and the track became too fragile.. It was lifted circa '12/'13 The loco stil...

Not from Fareham, and not an amazing photo, but something I hope will show what I am trying to achieve.

Fareham Model Engineers; a very small layout.

Hello All, Today at Fareham model engineers someone had a small battery electric loco running around a flower pot. I wish I had been able to find the chap who owned the "layout" as I am interested to as what track he might of used. The layout was circular and probably only just over a foot...

Rode that line some years ago when we were holidaying in Cornwall. I thought it was a good little ride, but as you say a tad expensive if all you want to do is ride the train!

I seem to remember they have a Lister railtruck there aswell.

Yes its back up and running. It is now built on a low brick wall and I belive it is a smaller layout. We have one at ADMES too now.

I bought an Ivor kit, I sent a cheque payment with a cheeky request in it.. My wishes where granted by Roy. Hes a top bloke. If you want a particular kit off him. Message him via ebay. The worst he can say is no!

20 degrees + in the workshop today... one got somewhat hot!!

However managed to make one portface made and another cut ready to be marked and drilled... Hopefully it will be OK. Also had to file away some of the cylinder flat on the front as it fouled the wheel.
