Hi Stewart You say you're using 4 x AA. Are they rechargeables? It sounds to me as if the batteries are not delivering enough power. One of the cells might be duff (I've had a similar problem myself) or there might be a fault on connections between the cells. Does the LED flash five times when the ...

I had this problem when you increased the throttle. The Deltangs have a LiPo protection setting on them which isn't needed for NiMh. Programming info is here: http://www.deltang.co.uk/rx60c-v611-p.htm (Just check I've got right version for your chip) Then under Menu 7 look for LVC (Low Voltage Cut)...

I am using a TX22 transmitter. When I open the throttle at all this happens.

Hi Guys,

I've used 4 x AA Batteries in a trailing wagon to power the loco. (Before having the deltang fitted I used 2 x AA and it worked fine)

Deltang Rx60 and Tx22 issues with power dropping

Hi Guys,

Basically I have installed a deltang RX60 in my HGLW battery diesel. This loco used to run fine until I installed the rx60 in it.

My issue is the power seems to drop after about a yard of running on the track? Is it that the motor is asking for too much from the deltang unit?

Oddly enough I've just recently placed an order for one from trackshack. Lots of places I looked seem to be getting more in May. Is it something to do with Accucraft updating the model itself?

Nope! :( Have got the steamer running on the rolling road but no tidy video of it. Will try soon, just waiting for the bleeding weather to perk up a bit so I can get the loco outside.

Like this a lot. Just installed my first deltang setup to a HGLW loco. I daresay once you get to grips with how the different functions of the handset work the world is your oyster regarding what sort of functions you have working off of it.

Thanks for this video Rik,

I will let you know when I get around to putting them together,

Just for anyone who is thinking of buying direct David is currently undergoing a housemove so deliveries of items are being delayed slightly, by how much I do not know.

Very nice job. Just convinced me to have a go at doing it to my HGLW loco. I was just browsing through Deltangs website and was just wondering where do you actually buy yours? (in the UK) Stewart I don't know about the others but I buy mine directly from David at Deltang. I give him the order and a...

Still very much here.. there just hasn't been much progression over the years I'll have to take some more up to date photo's one day and post them up. The loco hasn't ran around the track as of yet besides being hauled behind the maxitrak ruston we have. When this was happening the waterpipes which ...

I have a ground level railway running around our garden.  I have got a thread on it on here I believe, just haven't updated it in a long while. Only just got her into running condition as the valve timing was out. Just a few cosmetic issues to sort out now and then she'll be good to go. Stewart edit...

Looks great Peter, Perhaps if you wish to add even more character to the scene you could put some chains around the sleeper on top of the rail to show that it's a bufferstop of some sort(If that's what it's meant to be) As I said, your work is really impressive both in scenics and loco department.
