Penrhyn Quarry Railway announces phase 2!

The PQR website has just added some brief details about phase 2 of track extension on the news page. If you scroll down the page as well you can see what has been happening with Quarry Hunslet Gwynedd.

16mm 'Lilla'

hi all. I went to the Harrogate engineering exhibition earlier this year, there was a stand there with a 16mm 'Lila' and a few other bits and bobs including a cabbed quarry hunslet. The 'Lila' loco at that time was the prototype for their new range of kits that were to be released a few weeks later....

I'd imagine some sort of shop outlet once you get the Penrhyn Railway up and running might not be a bad idea? (Also could you arrange collection of any orders when I'm down at the Joys of Life? ;) ) yep the shop is going up on the new Penrhyn Quarries Limited website within the week, with all infom...

As many of you have probably heard, the Penrhyn railway has at long last re-opened as a railway after 50 years to the day. George Sholto was there as the first loco back in Bethesda for 50 years, It was taken to the quarry on the low loader to be the first Penrhyn loco back in the quarry for 50 year...

at the moment I dont think theres any straight parts :) But the curve I'm on about is the one just out side the locoshed, it is very tight and has a check rail
