Would you mind telling all when yours arrives philipy? I would be interested to hear how it worked out for you.
Sorry Dave, I'm not quite with you? I got one a couple of months ago and installed it in the Gmeinder loco, as per the thread I linked to. I don't have any more on order.

Re: Loco wheels (and other issues) 7/8th scale

Yes, I have used a couple of N20 gear motors, most recently on a German "Gmeinder & Co" diesel: https://gardenrails.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14734&hilit=gmeinder They are fine for light duty loco's but not sure if I would trust them with a heavy hauler, and I have no experience of...

Hunslet " Britomart"

In the attached picture of Britomart On the rear cab sheet there is a curved line of rivets just under the roof line. Then below that, there appears to be another line of about half a dozen rivets. However, if you look inside the cab at the inside of the cab front, there is a row of holes which appe...

Do you have an idea to fix accessories on the platform made of aerated concrete ?
If you really want things permanently fixed, try Gorilla Glue ( the original foaming one ). I used it to glue a loose stone platform edge to the concrete platform. It's still in place after about 5 years.

Re: Animated Gif

No, you have missed my point Rod. Your original post suggested that people could post NON-garden related items to your thread ("... if you have any thing that relates to garden railways, but it doesn't need to..."). Those are the ones that should be on Off Topic.

Re: Animated Gif

Nice gif Rod. Well done for mastering the technique. It would be great if you have any thing that relates to garden railways, but it doesn't need to, although we don't want to overloaded with just those that are not related please. I don't want to sound pedantic, but I should just point out that if ...

Re: Semi-scale BR: The Modernisation Plan

Inevitably, at this time of year the garden requires a massive tidy up and there are always umpteen rolling stock repairs to catch up with. But it’s raining again, so I’ll have another cup of tea, continue with my book and worry about the other stuff some other time. That about sums it up, for most...

Well here it is. https://youtu.be/ZQ2kqpcGWYQ In the end I painted it in standard early 1940's "Panzer grey", which is currently RAL 7021 and as far as I can tell was also used for Luftwaffe ground vehicles. I decided against the red embellishments since I'm not sure if they are correct ( ...

Is this the sort of thing you are thinking of, Phil? ( as a f'rinstance)

Give us some dimensions and I'm sure one of us can come up with something to suit.
