Re: The Pine Hill Railway (PHRy) - a Norwegian Garden Railway

I think most of you will see the image. Maybe it is about the browser. Anyway - the wiking ship logo on the tanker wagon is the authentic and historic logo of «Norsk Hydro». Norsk Hydro was making «tungt vann» (heavy water) during WWII in a small town Rjukan in Norway. And the heavy water was «maybe...

Re: The Pine Hill Railway (PHRy) - a Norwegian Garden Railway

February 2023 A new wagon with heavy load (Tungt vann = D2O = deuteriumoxyd) for my Pine Hill Railway (PHRy). A Swift Sixteen Tanker wagon kit heavily weathered. Due to the heavy load the wagon is fitted with bogies instead of the kit original 4-wheel arrangement. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ot1mogv1...

The black locomotive with a tender is a Roundhouse Jennie with lots of enhancements.
The other black locomotive is a Roundhouse Silver Lady.

Re: The Pine Hill Railway (PHRy) - a Norwegian Garden Railway

I m hopefully back on track in summer 2022. In 2021 I have been working on my RH Jenny: R/C, headlamp, vakumpump, brakehoses, a...

Re: Garden Railway Gallery - a POLL, please read.

I like the quarterly vote for the best garden railway picture. I have contributed with some pictures and also received good feedback. I hope we can continue, and it inspires me to make nice scenes of my garden railway. If we do not always manage to make a miniature of the 12 inches to the foot, then...

Re: Brandbright coaches on R1 curves.

I'm just wondering if i need to procure bogies instead of building them as bought. Yes, it is better to have bogies instead of 4 wheels on those Brandbright coaches if your line have narrow curves. My PHRy-line is 32mm with 2 foot curves, and all trains moves better around the line with bogies on t...

February 18 - 2021 The Pine Hill Railway is closed due to heavy winterstorm. I think the railway is somewhere under that white stuff. :) https://www.dropbox.com/s/k0ca1gvmivimbkr/Snow1-2021-02-18.JPG?raw=1 https://www.dropbox.com/s/kusjqbmfhe6gl3e/Snow2-2021-02-18.JPG?raw=1 https://www.dropbox.com/...

Little John is now working well. Problem solved. Notice to all: Make sure that main switch is turned off when you put your locomotive in the box after running session. If battery is complet flatt the charger will not be able to start charging these ni-ch batteries. After some carefull handling I did...

Re: RH Little John - battery will not charge

You need to take a step back and start with the basics. Disconnect the battery from all wiring connected to the loco and try and charge the battery with the charger separately. I have sent an email to Locoworks about the issue. As mentioned above there is a little challenge about remove the body fr...
