Steam Dome / Chimney

Hello.
Does anybody have a simple way of making a 'steam dome' and a 'chimney' this would be made from light gauge brass/mild steel sheet? I model in 16mm. They would be only cosmetic and non-functional. Thanks, any advice would be appreciated. Frank. :thumbright:

Forward and Reverse noise

Hi.
Can anybody throw some light on why some of my 16mm scratch-built electric diesel's in one direction it's very noisy but when switched to the opposite direction it's quiet, I use MFA motors and the usual brass worm and drive gears? Thanks, Frank.

Hello everybody new boy here. I am looking to wire a scratch-built 16mm Diesel loco. I need a wiring diagram (simple) to connect the Batteries/charger socket/speed controller and direction toggle switch the on-off-on version. If someone out there can help you have my thanks. Frank.
