How do I contact Jurassic Models

Anybody know how to get hold of Jurassic Models ? Tried e-mail details on Summerlands site but no response (didn't bounce back). Bit frustrating as I gave them my details to contact me when SAR coach set was available and noted they say they are doing a run this summer on above mentioned site. Bit f...

So that's how he affords his 9F.

I prefer the cheaper camping butane cylinders with the non-screw in adapters now. Available from "outdoor" shops around £2.00 a can. But if you want Go then tat is a good price with delivery. Max

Not wishing to be pedantic ......LGB rail and its compatibles are known as Code 332. Refers to rail height in thousands of an inch. Note, it does not refer to the profile. Some code 332 requires an adapter, Tenmille make, to mate to LGB and its compatibles, e.g. USAT/Aristocraft/Trainline/Piko/Accuc...

Did you see the boxes on the Anything Narrow Gauge stand? The long boxes have this facility and the arrangement of layered sponges and gauge inserts allow for different sized locos to be secured. I just did these for the Trade News in the next issue of GardenRail (my last before retiring). They loo...

I did. Very prompt response. Done via Paypal. Would make same observations about mags. Will give it a year to see how it pans out.
Not quite sure I'm that much into NG though for this to be a long term commitment. Max.

Had all the problems noted, except missing location. Annoying that I had to check the "Shed notices" for additional information to complete the on-line process, e.g. not accepting your bank address. Wasted 1/2 hour on-line trying to re-enlist after being constantly kicked out. 3 weeks late...

You need to take care when comparing Piko and LGB radius numbering - they are not the same. Take read here http://www.gardenrailwayclub.com/track/medium-radius-points-lgb-versus-piko I have used LGB radius numbering (approximation) in my post about the Piko curved point, not theirs, as this is the o...

Piko do a curved point. Code 332/45 mm. Similar to LGB R5 on the outside and R3 on the inside. Suitable ? Have one on my layout, been outside for 4 years and still functioning. Max.

I ordered a carry box for my K-28 nigh on 3 years ago, with an added feature of an adjustable stop so I could use it for my NGG16 or 2 smaller locos. Several e-mails and numerous assurances when pressed at 2 consecutive Peterborough shows and a load of platitudes and still........nothing. Not so muc...

Regarding track, Peco does look very expensive in our sizes, but LGB looks 'toylike'....until I studied several threads within the forum where the huge depth of LGB track has been concealed with plenty of ballast,is this the way to go? LGB code 332 and some hand made wood sleeper points and Xing la...

From a purely mercenary angle - Buy a good established and accepted make of second hand plastic sleepered track, whatever gauge. If the hobby does not workout for you, and you haven't chopped it up into little itty bitty pieces and bent it out of shape, then you will be able to sell it for pretty we...

However given the smallish area I have im swaying toward 32 and short wheelbase stock. Plus I like the look of it! Regardless if you go 32 or 45 mm gauge the minimum radius of the trackage you will use is dictated by the stock/locos/couplings you are running. Most makers of "16 mm" scale ...

16 mm society membership is a very good place to start or G scale society. However, the former is a very broad church, despite its name, with a larger membership (c 4250) and a well developed local area group network. You will find their members running both 32 mm and 45 mm track gauges and scales f...

Price. You must be pitching at £500+ per unit (with interiors ?) to make it worth your while as an RTR. You are going to seriously limit your market if you do not offer both 32 & 45 mm options. Do not assume your target market, which I assume are NGG16 owners, both the 150 Accucraft and sundry J...
