Today was the first steamup on the Fairfield railway with both 32mm and 45mm tracks available. However, with only 1 siding on the 32mm line, things got rather congested! Here are some pics

The afternoon started with what can best be described as a "Caledonia" fest!! There were 2 Caledonia's and 16 Isle of Man carriages, with another 4 Isle of Man's for the 32mm line

PTLRcecil's Superior King Arthur on one of the two 45mm circuits

Can anyone spot the difference in these 2 pics of my Lady Anne?

And finally...

A right set of reprobates together with FR Thunderbolt try to get pics of the 2 Caledonia's in a small patch of sunshine

The difference between the two photos of your Lady Anne is that it's running on different gauges!

Well yes...they're looking at the engine from completely different angles, and she's moving considerably faster in one than the other...

Seriously, she's been regauged. Anyway, nice pics, looks like a good event

Well I had to see if anyone noticed, although i knew it wouldn't take too long for someone to guess, what I ask is, has anyone ever run their engine on different guages at the same steamup before?

Yes, I believe it's an accucraft that's been regauged from 45mm, but unfortunately didnt run at all well

I think it was a gas problem, perhaps with the intense cold......

It is. However since the owner runs on 32mm it has been permantly reguaged from 45.
