Today the first anniversary of me having a continuas line to run on was marked with a large steamup, with many members of the North West area group bringing engines. Here are a few pics.

The Pine Tree light railway again brought a large contingent of engines, including PTLRsams meths fired Lady Anne

A special train was run in the semi light of about 3.30 and the heavy drizzle, double headed by my Caradoc and PTLRcecil's Superior "King Arthur". The steam effects were amazing with a long mixed train. However, the run was stopped as Caradoc showed the it cannot be trusted with special trians yet again as it shead a crank pin (third time that has happened this year). Then the celebratery fireworks were lit, the second one causing much smoke, though this may have been caused by the plant that appeared to be on fire  . The day ended with PTLRsams Archangel Marmaduke slowly pottering round with a short train.
Hopefully both me and my sister will be doing videos, although I am in need of a few clips before I can start on mine.
With thanks to everyone who came, it was a great afternoon :D

why have pics when you can have video, which will be comming later, yes the incline did work, but not before I had an embarrasing runaway first  I think Ian might have taken some pics of the incline, if so then im sure he'll be nice and post them, although I think you would like the video...
BTW thanks for the christmas card William :D
