Garden Railway Forum

Hi All,
Me and my father have been manufacturing bits for garden railways to sell as part of our main design and engineering company. I have asked and was told it would be ok to post a link on here
It is all for garden railways to 16mm scale (mostly 32mm gauge at the moment) but there is also some N gauge rolling roads on there to.
Everything is designed in house on Cad and assembled here to.

The loco frame is a good idea provided it extends to hold a good range of locos.
The crane caught my eye as it would be a useful bit of kit but I would like to see the 3D printing finished off a bit better. At 1:19 ish scale this would be clearly visible.

The frame is only avalible for smaller accucraft locos such as Edrig, Mortimer, Ragleth and Cardiac at the moment. There is plans to do other sizes of loco frames. We are planning to measure some locos up on saturday at the Peterborough show. We did look at making them so they could be extended but it caused problems with how well the locos stayed in when rolled over.

Very nice, I like the crane alot! Unless I missed it on the website, are they Kits or RTR?

The crane looks very nice. Of course, I have to cause the corresponding number of accidents to make it worthwhile for doing salvaging on the K&NWLR, but based on my record that shouldn´t be difficult.  ;)

You´re presumably referring to Cardiac Briefbreath of Arthurian legend? As opposed to his brother Caradoc Briefbras, whose arm was shortened in a story involving a snake, a tub of vinegar and a golden nipple. And you think I make these things up ....

It would make the "Cardiac" name for a locomotive all the more fitting  :lol:

But that shouldn´t distract from the fact that I really want the snowplough "made by Porterhouse" for Easter  :o

P.S. Just arranged to pick one up at Peterboro.

Snowplough looks good, and with the rail sweeps I'd guess its pretty good a shifting snow.

Now all I need to do is to arrange for snow on the (indoor) K&NWLR.
