New loco Book

Bought this book last friday and its a step by step construction guide for a 16mm guage steam loco. designed on a fowler.
here are some pics of the book
[it has boiler designs for both gas fired and coal fired boilers.
I think Im going to give this a go

Good luck Graham, does it utilises Roundhouse cylinders and Valve Gear?

I'm sure you would be able to substitute cylinders for roundhouse parts, If you check what the throw is on the valve and adapt valve gear to suit...
Any chance of some more sample page scans? I'm thinking of buying a copy of this book, and would be nice to see a bit more of whats in it!

Don't worry about the quality, it's just to get an idea od how step by step the instructions are. Some books cover simpler steps in bags of detail and the parts that are harder to describe are glossed over.
Does it give much advice on silver soldering the boiler and the various stages and setup in the hearth?
Also did you know that Model Engineers Laser sell the loco parts valve gears frames etc?

I've got the dxf files for the frames, footplate and rods if those are any use too.

I may have a go at one of those looking at all the parts that are available!!!
Alan as you have the files for some of the bits can you CNC them?
