What can I say. Just hope that the idiots put them on the 'bay or similar. Here's hoping they are returned in a fit state Brian.

Still can't believe this. I don't know what you got up to in previous lives, Brian, but I can only hope it was a lot of fun.
Well, now we know the buffer-stops work! (Heard at 2013 "Longest Day" solstice steamup)

Well that's put a downer on my holiday!
Bad news Brian and you have my commiserations. (I'll also be bricking it until I get home and check my line  )
I'd suggest that as well as evilbay etc, local militia keep an eye on the second-hand shops in the area and the AdMag?!

Really sorry to hear about this Brian, it doesn't need to happen to anyone. I'd be gutted too.

I'll keep an eye out in the Bham/Gt Barr area too.

Might be a time for some one with experience to post an article on how to permantly mark the underneath of our locos & wagons for I.D. purposes. Phone number or address - when you are selling to someone you have to give a receipt to new owner for the item to prove it was obtained legally.

That will make it a lot easier to track down our valuable eqiupment.

Just an idea, sorry to hear that some parasite has taken your stuff.

Terrible news Brian,we'll keep our eyes and ears open..It makes me cringe by the valuable items people keep in their sheds, your talking a hell of a lot of money if you add it all up.Yes we should be able to keep what we want in our sheds but the government won't allow us to because they won't lock these b*^")ds up.I keep my stuff locked in a jewellers cabinet in the living room,it should be safer.....Allan.
