New chassis, different bodies!?

Won this the other day on eBay, has one motor in one of the bogies, battery box for 3 C types in the middle, even space for a speaker


I think I may knock up a few different bodies to go on it! The couplers will be coming off, permanent removal I'm afraid, as they look fairly effective, but no good for centre buffered stock! I think a bufferbeam will go on...
It doesn't have a particularly big motor, so the speed isn't anything fantastic, but is good enough!

I don't know how interested you are in "realism", but those bogies look like "blomburg" bogies made by General Motors in North America. If you want to make something authentic-looking you could use the internet to look for General motors engines made for export; you might find something that would make an interesting model. They are a quite distinctive design peculiar to the GM locomotives.

I haven't got a clue, just says toy state industrial on the battery box, had a look on their website, no railway related items!

Kieth, Yes they do look quite GM-Ish!

I think I may go with the idea of some sort of Funky Diesel type thing, It is only a narrow chassis, so there is going to look odd if anything high is placed on top!
