Winter Steam at the SLR (south)

Today SLRmidge bullied Pedro de Hooten of the SLR south into holding a steamup, despite him having "winterised" his line! Despite this terrible behavior, Pedro and a small contingent of the NWAG enjoyed the great photo conditions. However SLRmidge felt the wrath of karma (or at least it appeared to be  ) with several derailments and disasters, many of which I got on video for (at last!) a sixth part to the "Things that go wrong at steamups" series.
Anyway, here are some pics

Another pic of DW, might have done better in the photo comp with this one!
I somehow managed to take quite a few nice pics today. Many thanks to SLRPedro for taking his line out of hibernation to let us play.

Excellent wintery shots :D Sometimes I reckon winter running beats summertime when you get steam effects like those!
(The winter lighting adds to the atmosphere too :D )
