Winter Steam at the SLR (south)

Today SLRmidge bullied Pedro de Hooten of the SLR south into holding a steamup, despite him having "winterised" his line! Despite this terrible behavior, Pedro and a small contingent of the NWAG enjoyed the great photo conditions. However SLRmidge felt the wrath of karma (or at least it appeared to be
) with several derailments and disasters, many of which I got on video for (at last!) a sixth part to the "Things that go wrong at steamups" series.
Anyway, here are some pics

David William, LMSjools Merlin Hunslet with a winter goods

Kittiwake during one of the brief periods it wasn't crashing into things

Another pic of the David William

Billy from the Ingleton Mountain Railway

Tom Rolt speeds towards Yealand

Urien on the embankment

Another pic of DW, might have done better in the photo comp with this one!
I somehow managed to take quite a few nice pics today. Many thanks to SLRPedro for taking his line out of hibernation to let us play.
