I was there for the Sunday of the 2 day event, the saturday was my failed attempt at getting to a Land Rover show in Devon, but it involved lots of 'emmets' leaving Cornwall at the same time!

The Three Spires is the biggest Model Rail Exhibition in Cornwall/Devon as such (so not very big really!

), held at my school sports hall (the only time I'll ever enjoy that particular area!) each year. Its all mainly 00/H0 stuff, but we were asked to exhibit as we're better than the rest cus we have STEAM!

Liked the 009 - that layout is what the scale was made for, not rabbit warren "which tunnel will it come out of next" layouts!

I thought you were going to say "It's all Gweek to me" but you obviously resisted the temptation!

Nice pics, but i don't think that is a 009 one, but a 0-16.5

I was thinking that as well, then figured they must have really small people in Cornwall if thats 009!

The narrow gauge layout looks brill' whichever scale it's in (hard to tell from the pics) and I've definitely seen the ww2 layout in one of the modelling mags - nice collection of photo's

That's a neat looking little CLR works train too!
