The beginning of the day started with some track repairs after my dad's Criccieth Castle was dragged off a high section and smashed against a wall after the rear coach derailed over a dodgy piece of track on a lift out bridge... so we did not want that to happen with visitors locos!!! Had my mates Sam (ex-'southtrethevy' on here), Mike and Ben arrive (infact, Ben extremely early, whilst I was still in my pjamas

Day started with the HVLRC (Helford Valley Land Rover Club) arriving at the pub for beer and a bit of train watching...

Sam brought along his Mamody eBay purchase, stripped of it's paint for repainting and modification to make it run slower.

Sam's Prince and my Linda.

My Lineside Delights diesel depot was finished just intime...

Looks neat.

Resident locos out on the day.

'Mandie' by Maenporth lake.

Ben's 'E. Jago', visiting it's former railway.

Another loco I built... Ben's 'Myghtern' (that was Sam's before)... this gets confusing!

Towing some rather interesting ex-'Britains' model tractor trailer bodies fitted on chassis'.

Sam's 'Dreysen Nans' hauling a rather long, but light train.

Ben's rather chunky, Quarry Hunslike.

Look, I even organised ANOTHER flypast... albeit a Flambloodybards one.

Edrig 'Dougal', formally in GWR green.

Passing trains.

Oh, what's this?!

It's Crackingjob's Peter Jones loco!

Complete with Peter Jones train!!

Wow!

'Mandie' chasing after her favourite Lumberjack.

And the explosionmobile, I mean Crackingjob's 'Myles'.

All fun, but this year, instead of rain and wind, we had a plague of ants... I'm not lying, I found TEN nests, with millions pouring out! I had to use copious amounts of powder to try and eradicate them! B@57@RDS!!!

End of the day, with the sun setting to the west...

What a nice ending, except for the swarms of flying ants...
"WHAT ABOUT A VIDEO" I hear you ask at the back, no worries, there will be one soon!
