Sunday Steam up at Butterley 1st August 2010
Posted: Sun Aug 01, 2010 9:33 pm
This week saw 4 members of the Forum at Butterley, though Tony was pretty much tied up with the barbeque (which I'd TOTALLY forgotten about - must check the diary before leaving home!) Well done Tony!
Brian was absent, probably with his poorly knee, (get well soon Bri
) while Keith turned up for his first run on the line with his Fowler

and a Lady Anne which Matt saw

and raised once,

twice,

three times!

and again, poetry in motion - first time in steam!

I took Blodwen and a mixed train featuring Laalratty's NWNGR coach having its first run ("finished" it at 3am!
)

and new wagon I picked up from Matt - it's loaded with stores that were to be needed for what I picked up later........

Matt returned Derek's Pugh from Berry Hill Works after repair from her fire damage.

She looked and ran sweeter than ever

Some other attendee's

Both of these had excellent sound cards fitted!

One for the multitude of Millie fans

Meanwhile, the 12 inch to the Foot boys were also having dieselly fun

A cracking day out, shame I'm going to miss the next few
