Just waiting for some paint to dry on my NWNGR quarrymans coach trying to get it ready for this afternoons steam up at Butterley, I thought I'd share some of Jaynies photo's with anyone interested.
She's into her wildlife and here's some captured in the act of trespass on the companies property!

Nothing coming?

You're all clear, I'll act as Lookout!

Nothing coming this way either!
Image

OK, now how's it go?, walk straight across on the ballast, don't step on the railhead or sleepers......
Image

Oh, what's this?
Image

Oh no! - he's stopped, I'm outa here!
Image

What did I do wrong??!

At night, things get worse when the ASBO hedgehogs are on the prowl.

Haha, nobody's about!
Image

No wonder the management have taken on extra security at the remote Codnor Station!
Image

Image

Image

Of course, things are a lot quieter in winter!

The End (for now! :D )

Seconded! Nice creatures on your line. All I have is ants, snails/slugs and sky rats (aka Seagulls). Oh, I do have tadpoles in my pond!

My mum and sister ensure that we get a wide variety of birds in our garden, especially in winter. Otherwise the only thing of real interest are the foxes we get on the field our house backs onto, luckily not in the garden.
Great pics anyhow!

Spot on photos there! :D

I think we've got over 65 speicies of birds in my garden (ranging from Golden Reeve Pheasents to Buzzards (yes i buzzard nexted in one of the trees one year!) to kingfishers to goldcrests......) and the Robins and Blackbirds are especially tame and always have a nose around whenever i'm running any trains.

The shame is, is that they're camera shy! But i keep on saying to the parents that once the railways finally built, i'll run a loco very slowly along it with some mealworms in the waggon and see what they do! :D
