The NWAG invade a LAG steamup

Today was the annual Lancashire Area Group meeting at an unamed line at Rishton, near Blackburn (SLRmidge has previously refered to it as the Rishton Riviera Light Railway, this name was a figment of his imagination 
) It was a good do, nearly up to NWAG standards but the weather really had it in for us, a couple of properly torrential showers had us soaked to the skin. Here are some pics

Kittiwake on the high level section
A very nice model of Prince, not sure of maker though. Despite obviously being quite old, it failed because of its bang up to date 2.4GHz radio system....
Urien on the triangle
Lady of the Lake in front of what is normally a stunning view. Alas we couldn't see it today for most of the time!

Suddenly the rain stopped and the sun came out, Jenny and Urien again
Finally, PTLRsam brought the coal fired Yeo out yet again, wafting the smell of coal smoke across the garden

I particularly like the wet-weather shot of The Earl. Rain is difficult to photograph in but it can produce some very atmospheric results.
