Summer Evening steamup on the ANLR 2010

Last night was my annual evening steamup on the ANLR, and despite only 4 NWAG members turing up (they all appeared to be on holiday
) there was plenty of interest, particualy with the visitors from the PTLR...

My Caradoc on a very rare run out attacking the hill

Eden from the SLR (South)

Lady of the Lake from the LMS waits for PTLRcecil's Beeson-Beck loco Gussie to pass

Lady of the Lake storms out of Afallen

SLRmidge was one of those on holiday, however his line was represented by his new purchase, unfortunatly it didn't run as LMSjools says he was instructed not to run it by its owner!

PTLRsam initially said he had just brought his Andel O&K and a few skips because he couldn't be bothered to bring anything else.
Luckily he was lying...

Because he'd actually turned up with these! Exe (Roundhouse) on the left and Yeo (Shawe Steam services and coal fired) on the right

Yeo in passes the quarry

On the slate wall by the greenhouse

Heading towards the tunnel and Nant Llywyd

Storming out of the tunnel

Decending the hill

Finally a bit of clag as Yeo is fired
All I can say is thanks very much to PTLRsam for bringing this fantastic machine to the ANLR, and for letting me have a drive at the end as well
It has nicely weathered the roofs on my coaches as well!
