Pete's day to the DLR

Before pete arrived I ran Robin to check the track out and make sure nothing was in the way. After Pete arrived and got set up the first engine out was his Bertie "Columba" towing two coal trucks and Pete's new guards van. As one bertie cooled I fired mine up, towing the same train as before so drivers could compare performance. Two of the resident battery locos took over for a while as a double header between Ben-Ben and Jake was set up, it certainly was interesting hearing the two locos working (or fighting) together. Silliness then followed in the form of some very rapid movements of a gaurds van. All to soon it was pack up and go home, anyway here are the photos i took, I know pete took lots more and plenty of video.

Columba arrives at Dinorwic.
Goes towards the loop.

Marvellous, looks a lovely day. I'd love to visit the railway one day. The shot of Berty passing the daff is lovely! and the one of the quiet station.
