I have just been to the Lincoln Garden railway show and finally, ip engineering have released their range of welsh highland kits, with more to come. They also had some new members of the Ezee range and some new style wooden bogies that look very nice. Along with this there is now a Talyllyn coach 18 for sale. Seems as though Ivan has been busy. Personally the welsh highland stock took my fancy, although I unfortunately hadn't saved enough to purchase one today. I haven't any photos as I forot my camera but they should be on thye website soon, along with the other kits that weren't at the show

I knew they were under development, but what exactly are the WHR kits, ie coach types? They were talking about having some for the railway around the shop on the WHHR if they were the right ones.

About time they were released, they've been in the waiting for a while. Still really dosn't help me anyway because I've scratchbuilt all of the WHR carriages I like - These are 3 1/2 years too late!

the types that were there were the gladstone and summer coaches, glazed and unglazed with bars and in cut down festiniog form with windows filled inj with full height doors. I believe the buffet and workmans coaches are in the range as well as some nwngr four wheelers although I am not sure about these. I think there is nine in total, can't remember the rest though.

Also forgot to mention that there is a new kit to complement the Atlantic observation car!

To be honest I didn't really pay much attention to the atlantic coach, too busy eyeing up the welsh highland stuff, but basically it is in much the same style as the current one but as a normal bogie coach without the observation window. can't remember what the interior looks like. Not a very good description I know!

Again , can't remember that much. I think that there was that there was a fully enclosed passenger railcar (if it was motorized) and a new flat wagon which apparently is just the right size for a beer can! I think there was about four or five in the range but don't hold me to that. Could be less! I now wish I had payed more attention!

He's actually doing the originals and the Wembley coaches, as well as a D Class open (which AnDell had got on his stand.........)

John Roger's has done one of the new railcars as a test for Ivan, and painted it green. Were piccies on the eGroup - wished I'd saved pictures.

Anyway, I rather fancy:




that to go with my Obs coach (whenever I get around to building it! )

Can just see the end of the Gladstone in the photo of the Atlantic coach, looking very tasty.

Seems War Department is the way to go at the moment, clearly following the trend set by myself .
