German Accucraft Modified Lawley

I love the colour of this:

Looks interesting, currently, 1950 Euros comes out about 1745 Pounds, so quite a lot for a Lawley!! (which you could modify yourself...)

Colour needs darkening! Why buy one modified when you can save money and have all the fun of modification though?

I WANT ONE but it is alot normal Lawleys are only 650 pounds aren't they.

I like that, but 'tis a lorra money!
Depending on the success of the "alternative" Ragleth colours, I wouldn't be suprised if we see a little more colour variety across the range in the future.

Nice looking engine. Actually, my first thought on seeing it was of the Matheran Hill Railway engines...well, it's a light blue 0-6-0T with a big headlamp...anyone else see it or is it just me?

Dragging this back on topic, the pump on the side of the loco looks interesting, could it be one of the regner working water pumps. It does look very nicely painted but i cannot see why the price is more than double the original
EDIT: looking more at the pics is this a factory modification as ive seen that lamp on other models and the paint looks factory finish

Hmm could be the regner water pump, has quite thick copper pipes from and to it, they cost an awfull lot but look and soudn quite good!

I wonder- does that mean the tank(s) are functional then? Would certainly go some way towards explaining the price difference. Also it's full r/c- the radio fitted Lawley is rather more than the price mentioned in this thread.
Still a lot of money though!
