Steam today

It's a bright and sunny 85f in the garden today so I thought..........Fire and steam that's what we need! so I started with the Roundhouse Millie...................
Will add more as I go.........

Few more of Millie, I wish I could say I did the mod's but she was like it when I bought her off eBay except she was Matt black so I repainted her..............
Must fit the new buffer beam I made for her.
Sun's a bit high right now makes Photo's a problem

Im not sure looks like a billy to me. when I 1st saw it on eBay I didn't think it was a Millie! but she is outside fire and all.........

well the chassis is original and the side tanks look original too but the rest is something else.
by the way outside fire locos are called pot-boilered locos

Well afternoon service was provided by ANNA on a short good's
not many people rate ANNA but mine is a Roundhouse version and while looking a bit toylike she is my best steamer by far!
Pulling the grade out of the station
The sun is lower now so a bit easier but still very bright!!
It's 5:30 and still 79F on the railway so no steam plume at all...

I like the cutting in the afternoon it gives a nice leafy dappeled look

Well what a splendid day it was I had time to play trains, post a few pictures and best of all no internet stress! Thanks for letting me hang here a while..............Paul.........

Why Yes! Yes it is!...............Electrics usually go the other way round so it's a down grade for them, but the steamies tend to go thundering through the station that way round!!!
