It is quite a substantial and heavy structure being made mostly out of concrete with a stainless steel floor complete with recess for the track. This allows me to make it look as though the track is level with the floor without having to concrete my track in place.
Also I have been working on the roof trusses, of which the front ones are currently under the process of being clad. The whole roof will be removable to allow access to the detailed interior which is also shown in some of the pictures. I have placed my recently overhauled IP engineering Jack in places to give an idea of the size of the building.
the interior detail consists of a raised working platform along with a work bench, some lockers and the foreman's office complete with opening door.
Most of this has been scratch built and so far, I am very pleased with it.
there is still plenty to do before this can be called finished, but hopefully it wont be too long before it can be put into use.
