ACCUCRAFT NG15!!!

This is the Engineering sample of the NG15. There are many more detailed parts to be fitted therefore this is not to be judged
as the finished model. It will be on show at the Llanfair Steam Gala.
Scale: 1:19 (16mm: 1 foot)
Gauge: 32mm/45mm (gauge adjustable by customer, like the NG16 Garratt)
Firing: Gas fired like K27, gas tank in tender in warm water bath.
Cylinders: ‘D’ valve, fitted with drain valves if possible.
Wheels spoked and insulated.
Valve Gear: Similar type to that used on K27.
Chassis to be sprung but 2nd and 3rd sets of driving wheels to be flangeless (blind).
Some concessions will have to be made to allow front and rear trucks to swing laterally enough to allow a 4 foot radius.
Minimum Radius: 4 feet
Tender to carry gas tank in water bath and to have a steam feed from boiler to reheat water to keep gas warm, like on the GS4 Daylight. The tender also to carry cold water feed tank with hand pump for filling boiler like the GS4 Daylight.

That's a good looking model, although personally I prefer little tank engines with tall cabs and chimneys.

i must say though they do look stunning and I bet they would look great running. shame, i don't quite think it would fit around my curves never mind passing loops and points!

don't like the huge great tubes coming from the tender!
Looks stunning though. Still tank locos with tall chimneys is my thing!

Looks great, although i agree that the pipes don't look good, and I'm not to sure about the tender either, with the sides covering up the wheeles.

The loco is relly nice but the tender seems flat and basic. Still get one though if i had the money

When they designed theses locos I don't think they really cared about the style of the tender, they just wanted one.
