well I think it was a combination of the cold, the wind and that the loco isnt properley run in yet
but ferrysteams going to take it apart and see if theres anything else that could be causing it.

Partially blocked gas jet? (ie not enough heat?)
Nice pics, that combination reminds me of Will's train!

I was thinking blocked gas jet myself. If the loco is new it probably has a bit of flux in the gas tank.
