It was my turn to hold the regualar Morecambe area steamup this weekend, the regular suspects turned up and a good variety of engines was seen. Here are some photos.
Image
The Silverdale light railway (N) sent the Wrekin, Kittiwake, and a train of cattle wagons. They are seen awaiting departure from Afonglas.

There was some intensive operation, with trains passing on the entries to the baloon loops as well as at the passing loop. Here Silver lady "Francis" waits for Little Morecambe steam railway resident David William.

ANLR favorite Gwydion(being thrashed around by SLRmidge today :o ) steams into Afallen on moss covered tracks (and I didn't even put any peat in the ballast mix!)

An image that proves that 4 engines in steam at once is not usually a good idea! It took a while to sort this train jam!

An attempt at an atmosphere shot, the passengers eye view with the down train hauled by my Lady Anne, Urien.

Finally, a video showing passing Lady Annes. I might put a video of the steamup on youtube, as I put collected enough clips.

As always, some great pictures from both of you :D I thought the Guard's whistle in the video clip was a very nice touch.

Yes, a whistle adds to the realism. The neighbours however don't always agree, can't understand why :?:
