Ofario is now GREEN!!!!! Not bad for two evenings painting... with a brush... I'm pleased with the paint job on the loco and not too fussed about the tender which had to be redone... and is still not 100% but better than the first attempt... I'm not doing it again unless it catches fire...

ITS ALIVE!!! well sort of... I have everything bar Meths, a meths bung, a water top up bottle and one centerbuffer buffer beam... I bought one at a show just so I could use it with my wagons... wish I'd waited to get a pair but oh well never mind!
It had a slight steam leak on the steam turret but I think I've sorted that as the "O" ring looked a bit fubar after it was steamed...
It was fired on the fuel tablets which were a nightmare to light and then put under the loco with the regulator in the way...
Anyway here are a few pictures!

It's a surprisingly powerful little thing, a definitely noticeable improvement!
It was also a stock testing day as the Marmite wagon is tagged on the back.
It was also a test day for a loco I've been repairing for a friend of mine... it went like the clappers!

That's a very good job you've done there - and with brushes too, am I missing something with all my aerosol troubles?

Definitely a good looker, tender and all - glad it works well !

Ofario now has a new chimney! To fit it I butchered the standard chimney and filed it down so it was a nice snug fit on the inside of the new one.
